At VitalSelf, we practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole.

Our coaching programs are designed to empower you with the focus, education and accountability you need to achieve results in the most important areas of your life.

Wherever you place your attention is where your energy goes, we work with you to focus your energy towards where you want to go versus where you want to get away from.

We start with where you are today through our initial consultation, then look towards where you want to go, define any gaps and create a plan together to get you there. Our goal is to empower you with tools, so that you can move forward and create a happy and vital life!

We combine multiple modalities to reach our client’s goals including nutrition, health and life counseling and coaching, energy work, trance dance, yoga breath, meditation and flow techniques.

A true holistic approach to life incorporates non-food nourishment such as honest and open relationships, meaningful spiritual practice, inspiring work, and physical activity you enjoy. These elements are called Primary Foods. We will work with you to help you find balance in both Primary Foods and the foods you eat on a daily basis.

No one diet works for everyone
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own nutritional needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run. I look at your age, health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate and personal preferences to determine your dietary needs.

While most dietitians focus on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, we work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of limitation.

Everything is food

Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
